Believe In Yourself

I was doing a personal review of myself lately and a few things came to my mind about personalities and affirmation. Do we realize how much power we give to the people around us? How someone tells you you’re looking good and all of a sudden your day brightens up and you feel good all through the day? Or how someone gives you an awful look and you get self conscious for the rest of the day? We tend to forget that we also have ourselves to uplift ourselves regardless of what anyone says or does. Does this mean affirmation from people around you is not important? No! But we’re going somewhere with this.

Hey fam!! I hope your October has been great thus far! Mine has been very busy! But I’m grateful that I have something productive to keep me busy! :-D There’s something else I’m grateful for…True friends.

Even though the definition of a true friend varies from one individual to the next, I believe the universal attribute of a true friend is selflessness! A true friend is willing to go the extra mile for you; to place your affairs before theirs; to make tremendous sacrifices for you. It’s a display of love; one that will never be forgotten.

I watched this video today! Gotta say I applauded right after it on my chair watching on my laptop. Makes perfect sense and can be applied to almost every phase of life.
